RAVE to joyful holiday lights. With many people feeling the lows over the election, natural disasters, COVID residue and others, we all needed some cheer. A house down our street had Christmas lights on two weeks before Thanksgiving, encouraging me to decorate our yard. I wanted two more strings of lights, but not one store had any more the first week in December. I noticed more homes decorated this year. That’s where they all went! HOW CHEERFUL! Within four square blocks of our neighborhood, 36 houses were lit up! It didn’t matter if it was one string of lights to dazzling showcases. YOU DID IT!

RANT to the ranters who always seem so curmudgeonly and self-righteous. Take a deep breath and enjoy life in a big city with lots of different people and experiences, many positive and a few negative. Happy New Year!
