RAVE to Seattle Parks and Recreation Superintendent AP Diaz for the free swim lessons program at local pools for scholarship-eligible children ages 6-16. Free swimming lessons not only save lives but offer a whole host of other benefits for society and individuals!
RANT to parking lots that only take payment through apps and don’t have a kiosk available. They must think everyone in the city can afford a cellphone! How pompous of them!
RANT to the excessive proliferation of cheap plastic signs littering our public rights of way, advertising various for-profit businesses and political candidates. There are restrictions on this, it is a selfish way to grab free advertising and no one ever removes them, so they blow into the streets and become garbage. This includes several prominent real estate agents. Double rant to the companies that attach these signs onto trees with large, impossible-to-remove screws. This is never OK!
