RAVE to the airport security employee the other day who, when he found some prohibited items in a passenger bag, started singing “Everybody” and mentioned a few of the items with his own music and lyrics. He hit and sustained a high note effortlessly at the end. It took probably a minute, but everyone listened and got the message. Rave to all waiting passengers who clapped. Such moments bring immense joy in an otherwise normal, and some may say boring, evening.

RANT AND RAVE Rave and kudos to the Seattle Fire Department who frequently test equipment at Madison Park North Beach. They run hoses full blast ensuring that high-rise buildings can be reached with water. On the flip side, rant that every time the Fire Department does this exercise, the water in our condo turns an ugly brown color and stays this way for several days. We’re not sure if the water is even safe to drink.
