Plenty of flowers for sale at Georgetown market.
The Seattle Wholesale Growers Market, a cooperative owned by 13 flower growers in Washington, Oregon and Alaska, opened six years ago.
The market sells to wholesale buyers from 6 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, and to the public 10 a.m. to noon on Friday. The general public pays retail pricing, versus wholesale.
Molly Sadowsky, market manager, said their products are consistently changing, and August and September is the market’s busiest time of year.
