Top Pot Doughnuts and Coffee will close its Queen Anne location next weekend after over 17 years in business.

With their lease ending, Top Pot owners decided to close the Queen Anne location at 325 West Galer Street, according to an Instagram post.

“This cafe has been home to so many memories — from your morning rituals to late afternoon pick-me-ups — and we’re truly grateful for your support and loyalty over the years,” the post reads.

The shop will close at end of business hours Sunday.

Brothers Mark and Michael Klebec started the popular doughnut chain known for its retro feel in Capitol Hill in 2002. Since then, the chain has expanded to more than a dozen locations.

Ownership did not respond to a request for comment Sunday.

The chain got headlines when then-President Barack Obama visited its Fifth Avenue location in Seattle in October 2010.
