Fans who were disappointed with the delayed opening of Shake Shack can now relax. We have an opening date to the cult burger chain from New York City restaurateur Danny Meyer.

Mark it down. Finally, the cult burger chain Shake Shack is opening — on Oct 11 at 11 a.m. If last week was any indication, expect a looong wait. Last Friday, only those who got invites were told of the 11 a.m. soft opening. But that training session got leaked, and fans started lining up at 9:30 a.m. On another trial run, the line stretched two blocks long.

The Seattle location is in the South Lake Union/Denny Triangle area, at 2115 Westlake Ave., three blocks south of Denny. Besides its signature burger and crinkle-cut fries, a big hit so far is Shake Shack’s dessert homage to Seattle,  its “Coffee & Croissant” frozen vanilla custard with Sea Wolf croissant brittle, Theo’s dark chocolate chunks and coffee caramel sauce.
