If you don’t celebrate the holiday, don’t want to bother with cooking this year or just want to get out of the house on Christmas, it can be difficult to find a restaurant open on Dec. 25. But we’ve done the work for you!
Here’s a list of Seattle-area restaurants that will be open on Christmas Day. (Generally, most of those are also open on Christmas Eve.) Whether you’re feeling nostalgic and want to get Chinese food for dinner after rewatching “A Christmas Story” for the hundredth time or you’re looking for something new, you’ve got lots of options.
This is not meant to be a comprehensive list, and you should always call and confirm availability for your party. Many restaurants also recommend making a reservation, and bear in mind that lots of places serve prix fixe menus for the holiday. As a final tip, if you take a stroll around the Chinatown International District on Christmas, you’ll find a decent number of restaurants open for business.
