BEES! First it was cod (not salmon, despite early reports), then Seattle roadways were snarled by an overturned bee truck. But don’t blame the bees: They were just carpooling to work. We’re the ones who messed up the world and our food chain so much that they have to be driven around to pollinate plants. The bees were on their way to some blueberries, and they are now tiny traffic fatalities — millions of them. Pity the bees! MORE>>>
SEATTLE IS GETTING A JOSÉ ANDRÉS RESTAURANT in the tony Philippe Starck–designed SLS Hotel planned for downtown. The restaurant from the world-famous Spanish chef will occupy the former Seattle First United Methodist church, which sounds pretty incredible. MORE>>>
