Some 10,000 votes have been tallied through the first three rounds of our Seattle Times Pizza Smackdown. Now, just four pizzerias remain in contention for the title of Seattle’s Best Pizza. (Or at least its most popular, as voted by Seattle pizza-eaters.)
Advancing to the semifinals are four sultans of slices: Stevie’s Famous, which ousted Tivoli; Delancey, which bested Cornelly; Bar del Corso, which topped MOTO; and Post Alley Pizza, which took down Tutta Bella.
Looking ahead to the finals: On the left side of the bracket, No. 1 seed Stevie’s Famous, which has taken the Seattle pizza scene by storm, will battle Ballard pizza institution Delancey, our tournament’s No. 5 seed. Meanwhile, Beacon Hill favorite No. 19 Bar del Corso faces off against No. 23 Post Alley Pizza.
Stay tuned next week for those two matchups in our bracket’s semifinals! Voting will launch Aug. 6 at seattletimes.com
