Here’s one last glamour shot from the Cannes Film Festival, which rolled up its red carpet for another year last weekend. This is actor Zhang Ziyi (at Cannes with the drama “She’s Got No Name”), wearing a Maison Margiela gown that seems beautifully suited to the late-evening light; made of floaty, romantic black lace over a twilight-blue underlayer. My other favorite thing about this photograph: the photographer over on the right in the back, who appears to be wearing formal shorts and knee socks. Bye, Cannes; I’ll miss you.
