Saved from logging, Lake Wenatchee’s Nason Ridge Trail is a hiker’s paradise

This summer, the ridge directly above Lake Wenatchee State Park was saved from deforestation by Western Rivers Conservancy, before it was lost for a generation. The park is frequented by hikers, bikers, skiers and equestrians.

The ridge above the state park had been slated for logging, but Western Rivers Conservancy secured the purchase of 3,700 acres of land, plus 22 miles of trails for public use.  VIEW
