The end of the school year can get a little crazy, so do yourself a favor and start planning your teacher gifts now.

Here are a few ideas to get you inspired.

Trophy Cupcakes Apple Dozen ($51 for 12). Pick up a dozen for your kid’s favorite teacher, or spread the local company’s decadent confections among several gift bags. The dozen includes six vanilla and six chocolate cupcakes, topped with buttercream icing rolled in red sanding sugar, and topped with a pretzel stem and edible leaf.

Paper Sushi Mini Bento Box Teacher Stamp Set ($20 at etsy.com/shop/papersushi). If Teach loves stamps, give her this hip set designed in Portland, with your choice of ink color. “A” is definitely for Awesome.

Kikkerland Monkey Cable Photo Holder ($10 at kikkerland.com). Teachers get lots of drawings and thank-you notes at the end of the year. Provide a place to hang them with these magnetic monkeys that can be stuck to a fridge at home, or hung on the included bright-green line.

Seattle Seed Company seed packets ($3.25 each) and Organic Soap ($8, both at seattleseed.com). Create a gift pack of these local products to thank Teach for helping you grow. A range of seeds are available for flowers, herbs, and fruits and veggies, depending on your teacher’s interests and gardening experience.

Thimblepress Like Herding Cats Notepad ($7 at etsy.com/shop/thimblepress). Make her smile and let her know how hard she works with these cute and cheeky notepads out of Jackson, Miss. Each pad contains 50 sheets on a sturdy cardboard backer.

Box Appetit Thermo Pot ($40) or Bento Box ($20, both at boxappetit.com). If your teacher’s the type who works through every lunch break, provide something that makes eating at a desk a little more pleasant. The super-cool Thermo Pot’s cork top has a polypropylene bottom that securely screws into the insulated stainless-steel body, while the Bento Box keeps different foods and sauces separated in a compact design.

Rifle Paper Co. Bordeaux Thanks Card ($4.50, at riflepaperco.com). Of course, a heartfelt note surrounding a gift card is always a good way to go. Pick up fun, personal cards, such as this one for your French teacher or favorite world traveler.
