Portland's Claws Out Nail Polish is toxin-free and fiercely feminist.

Want to walk the walk down to the tips of your pedicured toes? Claws Out Nail Polish nails ethically conscious beauty.

The fiercely feminist Portland company’s indie lacquers are vegan and five-free (meaning they contain none of the toxic carcinogens, such as formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate and camphor, found in many nail polishes).

Each bottle is affiliated with a progressive nonprofit that gets 20 percent of proceeds from each sale. Nude, a glitter polish, benefits the National Organization for Women, while Teal Liberty benefits The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization and the hot-pink Uterus shade supports Planned Parenthood. Each bottle comes with a corresponding donation card.

Labels are printed by a Northwest woman-owned business, and recycled materials are used as much as possible in packaging.
