Made in Portland, the Yellow Scope Chemistry Kit aims to spark an early love of science in girls.
Use Yellow Scope’s Foundation Chemistry Kit to help spark an early love of science in girls ages 8–12.
Yellow Scope is the brainchild of Marcie Colledge, Ph.D., and Kelly McCollum, who has a Master of Public Health degree. The two scientists and moms are based in Portland, where each kit is assembled by hand.
The sets contain ingredients and tools for more than 12 science experiments, including beakers, safety goggles, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate and more.
The award-winning kit was a finalist for Toy Industry Association Toy of the Year, and is both inspiring and a whole lot of fun.
