You don’t have to break the bank to delight your favorite tech guru this holiday season. These five fun, affordable gifts are small enough to fit in a stocking and still make a big impression.

Anker Roav Viva ($48 at amazon.com). Echo Auto won’t be released until 2019, but you can get this Alexa-enabled auto device in time for Christmas. The two-port charger plugs into your car lighter and offers in-car navigation, voice-initiated calling, music streaming and more. Want to ask directions, listen to audiobooks, shop online or hear your favorite playlist? Just say the word (that word being, of course, “Alexa”). Compatible with Android and iOS smart devices.

Star-Lord’s Walkman with Headphones Retro Recordable Player ($40 at thinkgeek.com). Your favorite Marvel fan (or Gen Xer) will love this speaker made to look like a Walkman with the Awesome Mix Vol. 2 from “Guardians of the Galaxy” inside. An audio jack connects to your phone or mp3 player to play music, and a built-in recorder and voice distorter add to the fun. It even has the song “Come a Little Bit Closer” built in, for hardcore fans.

I Love Handles Notepad ($10 at ilovehandles.com). Move aside Post-it Notes. The Portland-designed Notepad is an erasable adhesive pad that’s perfectly sized to fit on the back of an iPhone 8 or X, just ready for your to-do lists and notes to self. It comes with a pen and eraser (though any eraser will work) and is also available as small or large rectangles to add to a computer or tablet.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K ($50 at amazon.com). The revamped Fire TV stick has a new quad core processor for faster streaming optimized for 4K Ultra HD, plus more storage for apps and games than any other 4K streaming media stick. Of course, it also includes an Alexa voice remote to control your channels, apps and websites, as well as any Alexa-enabled camera feeds, lights or speakers, all by voice command. And this time, the volume buttons are on the remote.

Star Wars R2-D2 USB Car Charger ($25 at thinkgeek.com). Take R2-D2 for a ride. This cute portable car charger beeps, spins and lights up as it charges up to two devices simultaneously via its dual USB charging ports. It will entertain kids of all ages (especially the grown-up kind) and earn you some serious geek cred.
