At least we beat out Richmond, Virginia.
Glassdoor has released a list identifying the 25 Best Cities for Jobs in 2018, and you’d think Seattle would be right up there, right?
Seattle was listed at 23, also known as second-worst best place.
“Who beat us?” you cry.
That would be Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Indianapolis. And not just one, but three cities in Ohio.
By now, it should be dawning on you that the cost of living must factor into this list, and sure enough, it did. In fact, Glassdoor says it weighed three factors equally: how easy it is to get a job there, how affordable it is to live there and how satisfied employees are working there.
Affordability aside, Seattle is a pretty great place to live. And we certainly do have a lot of job openings.
