Q: Do large-scale local home tours happen anymore?
A: As a matter of fact, they do. And it just so happens that the premier remodeled-homes tour of the year, aptly named the Remodeled Homes Tour, is just around the corner.
In need of some home renovation inspiration? Want to check out one of those cool new homes you’ve driven past, and the neighborhoods they reside in? Simply looking for something fun and unique to do either alone or with a friend or family?
Save the date for the weekend of Oct. 21–22. This year, the Remodeled Homes Tour is showing off 17 freshly renovated homes as completed by some of the region’s premier remodeling companies. As a bonus, Dunn Lumber is opening up its new state-of-the-art Bellevue showroom for guests and gawkers alike to get in on the latest in DIY home renovations.

These homes — scattered throughout King and Snohomish counties from Issaquah to Edmonds, with many clustered within the Seattle area— feature the latest in design and innovation, and you’re invited to step inside to see each detail up close and in person.
Tours like these offer a great opportunity to scout what your future kitchen, bathroom or living room will look and feel like after a renovation. As a bonus, many of the remodelers who performed the renovations will be on site and available to answer questions about these homes — or about your future project.
Last year, more than 2,000 visitors toured various homes over the two-day span. Says one about their experience, “The tour was such an inspiration! I loved all the homes and the people were so kind to explain all the work they had done.”
The Remodeled Homes Tour is presented each year by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties and select member remodel companies. With nearly 2,900 member companies, including remodelers, builders, associate members and tradespeople, the Master Builders Association is the largest, and oldest, residential homebuilding association in the country.
