Seattle-area singing phenomenons Claire Ryann Crosby, 5, and her dad, Dave, who recently competed on “The Voice,” performed an Aladdin hit on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which aired on Thursday.

It was not the duo’s first time on the show, and Dave Crosby credited DeGeneres with helping to launch his chance at a musical career.

Crosby, a singer and songwriter who also works as the creative director of a Bothell-based drone and camera company, began making videos that he posted on the family’s YouTube channel, Claire and the Crosby’s, when he realized his daughter had perfect pitch and a love of performing.

Before singing “A Whole New World” on Thursday’s show, the two spoke to DeGeneres about Claire’s recent birthday, her 3-year-old brother’s birthday and the new baby girl the family is expecting.

Since the Ellen show was taped, Dave Crosby was knocked out of “The Voice” competition. However, he has said he plans to keep on with the family tradition of making music.
