Let the wild rumpus begin! All lovers of Maurice Sendak’s beloved 1963 Caldecott Medal-winning picture book, “Where the Wild Things Are,” will recognize that call to action. Young audiences will get their own chance at a rumpus when “Wild Things” comes to the stage at Seattle Children’s Theatre Jan. 7-Feb. 28. The production, from Vancouver’s Presentation House Theatre, invites kids to help main character Max on his adventures. (A spot in the “participatory seating area” near the stage in the Eve Alvord Theatre is recommended for those ages 4 and up.) Tickets and information: 206-441-3322 or sct.org.
