Tuesday, we posted a story about local lawyer Jonathan Nichols – you remember, the guy who wound up with Sir Mix-A-Lot’s old phone number and then started receiving racy messages fit for a hip-hop celebrity.

In the 24 hours since, Nichols’ not-a-problem problem has gotten worldwide attention.

The story went viral, landing on the front page of Reddit, on the front of People.com, GQ, Time and Vice, among many other outlets. The BBC World News called for Nichols’ number, and on Wednesday morning, ABC’s “Good Morning America” ran a segment on the story, in which Mix cracked, “If he’s a lawyer, if he sifts through those calls, he will find clients. Trust me!”

And as for the more risqué messages, Mix offered, “Just to help him offload some of this pressure, he could always forward the ladies’ pics to me.”
