The mini-concert series kicks off with a free show at Pier 62 on Saturday, July 2, with Seattle bands Telekinesis, Summer Cannibals, producer Erik Blood and KEXP DJ Evie.
As reported earlier this month, renovations on the waterfront’s Pier 62 may lead to the return of the late and lamented concerts at the pier in a couple of years. But why wait?
This summer, radio station KEXP 90.3 and Friends of the Waterfront are presenting “KEXP Rocks the Dock,” a mini-concert series at Waterfront Park, between the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. On Saturday (July 2), you can catch Seattle bands Telekinesis (pictured), Summer Cannibals, producer Erik Blood and KEXP DJ Evie.
4 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at Waterfront Park, 1401 Alaskan Way, Seattle; free (kexp.org).
