The wait is over if you have ever wondered what Metallica would sound like playing kid instruments found in a classroom. On Wednesday night, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” had the giants of metal play “Enter Sandman” plucking and tapping at toy instruments.

The dark song that Metallica’s frontman James Hetfield has said is about a child’s nightmare and the manipulation of children by adults might be even scarier played on drums, guitars and clarinets made for little fingers.

The fun can’t all be had by the adults. Check out this video of The Warning, a band made up of three young sisters, covering “Enter Sandman.”
