TV on the Radio, The Kills, New York duo RATATAT, Built to Spill and The Julie Ruin were among the headliners announced Tuesday for this summer’s Capitol Hill Block Party. The three-day festival takes place July 24-26 in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
The festival, which boasts a diverse mix of indie rock, punk, hip-hop and EDM (electronic dance music) acts, routinely draws 10,000 fans per day.
This year’s installment includes locally sourced acts Flavr Blue, Shabazz Palaces, Chastity Belt and Industrial Revelation, among others, performing on five stages.
Three-day passes cost $99 and will be available through April 2 via capitolhillblockparty.com.
Ticket prices increase to $125 April 3 through July 4, and to $150 from July 5, through July 26.
Acts announced so far also include Toro Y Moi, Broods, Wye Oak, Flatbush Zombies, Jamie XX, Giraffage, DIIV, Com Truise, Deafheaven, Wet, Shannon And The Clams, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Sam Lachow, BADBADNOTGOOD, Lower Dens, Protomartyr, Daktyl, The Coathangers, Meatbodies, Ambassadeurs, Lost Lander, Kite String Tangle, The Wooden Sky, Smokey Brights, Kinski, Crater, One Above None Below, Slow Bird and Zoolab.
