A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, was there a day celebrating everything from Bantha milk to Alderaan Ruge Liquer?

Here in this galaxy there is a day to highlight just about everything. Maybe the biggest of the unofficial holidays is Star Wars Day, which of course happens May the Fourth.

Few, if any, movie franchises have as a devoted fan base as does Star Wars. These fans will be happy to know that on Wednesday the ninth Star Wars movie-release date was announced for May 24, 2019. The announcement, along with the release date for the fifth Indiana Jones film was announced (July 10, 2020) in a video on the Star Wars website.

If May 2019 sounds like a long time to wait, watch the first trailer for the eighth Star Wars movie, “The Last Jedi,” which hits theaters Dec. 15.

Star Wars Day can’t be all Death Star and First Order like. It is a day to celebrate all things Star Wars.

With that, we give you a video of Mark Hamill surprising fans reading lines from the movies.
