Here are some theaters offering discounted movie tickets during the week of May 1.

“American Sniper”

It’s new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “The Imitation Game,” “Paddington,” “Still Alice” and “Wild” ($4-$5.50).

“The Age of Adaline”

It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3:35 p.m. shows Saturday-Sunday and the 6 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $10.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron 3D,” “Félix & Meira” and “Misery Loves Comedy”

They’re new at the Sundance Cinemas. Also there: “Ex Machina,” “The Age of Adaline,” “Dior and I,” “The Water Diviner,” “Wild Tales,” “While We’re Young” and “What We Do in the Shadows.” Tickets are $6-$7.50 on Mondays with ORCA card, $5-$6.50 for women in groups of two or more on Tuesdays. Theater is for 21+ only.

“My Neighbor Totoro” and “Serenity”

They’re new at Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $7.

“The Gambler”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

“Do You Believe?” and “American Sniper”

They’re new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: “The Gunman,” “Chappie,” “The Lazarus Effect,” “Run All Night,” “The Duff,” “Jupiter Ascending,” “The SpongeBob Movie: A Sponge Out of Water,” “Black or White,” “Penguins of Madagascar” and “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” ($3.50).

“The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” “Do You Believe?” and “American Sniper”

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way.Also there: “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water 3D,” “Focus,” “Chappie,” “Seventh Son 3D,” “Jupiter Ascending 3D” and “Paddington” ($2-$4).
