Where to see discounted movies during the week of Oct. 2:

“Phoenix,” “Shaun the Sheep Movie” and “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”

They’re new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: “Spy” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” ($4-$5.50).

“The Martian”

It’s new at the Big Picture Seattle. The 2:45 p.m. show Friday-Sunday and the 5:45 p.m. show Monday-Thursday are $10.

“The Martian 3D,” “Sicario,” “Going Clear,” “Coming Home” and “Northern Soul”

They’re new at the Sundance Cinemas. Also there: “Meet the Patels,” “The Intern,” “Everest 3D,” “Black Mass” and “Trainwreck.” Tickets are $6-$7.50 on Mondays with ORCA card, $5-$6.50 for women in groups of two or more on Tuesdays. Theater is for 21+ only.

“Harold and Maude” and “Life of Brian”

They’re new at the Central Cinema in Seattle ($8 in advance, $10 at the door).

“I’ll See You in My Dreams”

It plays at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.

“Pixels 3D,” “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” and “Shaun the Sheep Movie”

They’re new at the Gateway in Federal Way.Also there: “Hitman: Agent 37,” “Vacation,” “Fantastic Four,” “Spy,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron 3D” and “San Andreas 3D” ($2-$4).
