“Kanye, why”?

That’s among the milder reactions from fans after Kanye West revealed during his Thursday night performance in San Jose, Calif., that he would have voted for President-elect Donald Trump had he bothered to cast a vote in the presidential election.

The announcement from West, who said former President George W. Bush “doesn’t care about black people” after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, shocked concertgoers and lit up social media.

West went on to say that he was “glad Trump inspired racists to reveal themselves” and re-iterated he was considering a run for president in 2020 if everybody could just hold on four years.
