Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton, who wrote about her experiences in the last election in her new memoir “What Happened,” will be in Seattle at Elliott Bay Book Co. on December 12 at noon. The event is a signing only; tickets are $30 and include a copy of “What Happened” and a place in the signing line.

Reviewer David Wiegel, in The Washington Post, described the book as “a raw and bracing book, a guide to our political arena,” and noted that “much of ‘What Happened’ is a meditation on powerful women, a test-run for the speeches Clinton will give for the rest of her life.” Released in mid-September, the book is currently at the top of the New York Times bestseller list for nonfiction.
