Zumiez, a seller of clothing, shoes and equipment for action sports, said Wednesday that sales in stores open at least a year fell 0.6 percent during the five weeks that ended Oct. 5.

That’s in line with what analysts were expecting from the Lynnwood company, according to Thomson Reuters.

Sales in stores open at least a year is considered a key measure of a retailer’s financial health because it strips away the impact of recently opened or closed stores.

The company’s total revenue fell 6 percent from a year ago to $58.9 million.

The retailer operates 542 Zumiez and Blue Tomato stores in North America and Europe. The bulk of stores are in the U.S.
