Silk Way Airlines of Azerbaijan has ordered two 747-8 freighters, bringing Boeing’s tally of 2013 net orders for the jumbo jet to zero.

That count doesn’t include an agreement from Korean Airlines to buy five passenger models of the jet, announced last month but not yet finalized.

The Baku-based cargo carrier’s order is worth $704 million at list prices. The actual price, as estimated by aircraft valuation firm Avitas, is about $371 million.

With an order for three 747s from Cathay Pacific and the cancelation of a five-plane order by Gulf-based DAE Capital, the big plane’s official order book for the year previously stood at minus two.

The company in March said it would slow production of the Everett-built jumbo from two planes a month to 1.75, but officials insist they are confident in the plane’s future.
