Nordstrom set up a 14,000-square-foot photo Thursday on the roof of its downtown Seattle flagship store to mark the beginning of its annual anniversary sale Friday.

The installation is designed to look like a screenshot of a leopard dress in an Instagram feed. The piece highlights the company’s Internet vocation — Nordstrom is well-known for its e-commerce website, as well as its forays on Instagram and Pinterest — as well as its hefty investment in brick and mortar. The Seattle store is in the midst of an $80 million face-lift to turn it into a more upscale shopping destination.

Nordstrom said that if the photo installation were vertical, it’d be 15 stories high. When the set is taken down, the company will donate the material to Goodwill, which will recycle it into more than 1,000 reusable bags.
