Pyramid Breweries has struck a multiyear sponsorship deal with the Seattle Mariners, allowing the brewery to use the team’s name and logo at its alehouse, which is across the street from the Safeco Fieldm and on Pyramid products sold through retailers outside the stadium. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

“It’s going to be a centerpiece of our marketing efforts for the Northwest,” said Scott Barnum, Pyramid’s chief executive. “It’s nice to finally and officially be part of the Mariners program.”

Dozens of brands of beer are poured at Safeco, but Anheuser-Busch was the team’s lone beer sponsor until now. Anheuser-Busch owns about a third of Redhook Ale Brewery in Woodinville.
