Not all of the Northwest’s most influential business leaders carry the title of CEO, and in the case of Boeing’s Jim McNerney, not all reside here. Yet there’s lots of interest about their pay. Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, who will soon relinquish day-to-day management duties to focus on philanthropy, received 2006 pay worth $968,779, but his 2007 pay was not disclosed because he was not among the company’s five top-paid executives. The SEC requires companies to reveal pay for their CEO, chief financial officer and next three top-paid executives. Here’s what other Northwest notables received last year. |
