Dr. Thomas Dodson was named chair of the University of Washington Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dodson comes to the UW from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he directed the Center for Applied Clinical Investigation in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He also served as the game doctor for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. Dodson’s appointment at the UW begins Sept. 1.

Jeremy Skogsbergh was named partner at PwC US, Seattle.

Joseph Giampietro was hired as managing associate at NK Architects, Seattle.

Joan Albee was named president of the Estate Planning Council of Seattle.

Jesse Olsen was named executive chef at The Golf Club at Newcastle.

Alyssa Walz joined the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle as group sales manager.

Jason Vacha was promoted to shareholder at Reed McClure in Seattle and
Caroline Ketchley and William Fuld joined the firm as associates. Nathaniel Bailey joined Sebris Busto James, Bellevue.
