Spencer Lee, an Internet industry veteran, has joined Julep Beauty in Seattle as chief financial officer.

Lee was formerly CFO of the Registrar Services division of Demand Media, a Santa Monica, Calif.-based digital media and domain-services company.

Julep Beauty, a beauty brand, has raised more than $25 million in venture capital from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Maveron and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
