Patrick Bannon was named president of the Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA).

Bannon, who has been vice president of communications and public affairs for the BDA, has more than 17 years of organizational leadership and public-affairs experience.

Before joining the BDA in 2005, Bannon served for 10 years as an account executive for public-relations agencies in the Seattle and Los Angeles markets.

Rachel Merrill was named shareholder at Hanson Baker Ludlow Drumheller, Bellevue. Pam Jacobson was promoted to member at Christensen O’Connor Johnson and Kindness, Seattle.

Merchandising:Alecia Bridgwater was named divisional vice president of brand marketing and James Szubski director of marketing of the consumer products division at Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, Woodinville.
