Architecture: Kira Christante and Todd Matthes joined Gensler.

Banking: Bethany Harvey was named Wells Fargo’s business banking relationship manager for the Seattle-metro area. Justin Arnold was hired as a mortgage banker/broker at Golf Savings Bank, Mountlake Terrace.

Biotechnology: Michael Murphy was appointed senior vice president of operations at Pacific Biometrics.

Health care: John Fletcher was named vice president and chief executive for Providence Health System’s Washington region.

Hotels: Carrianne Pugh was named director of sales and marketing at Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers.

Law: Susan Peterson joined Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. Bryce Holland was named partner-in-charge and Evan Schwab practice group leader in the Seattle trial group at Dorsey & Whitney. Julie Thrall joined Lane Powell as a shareholder. Russell King and Leslie Clark joined Short Cressman & Burgess as associates.

Project management: Amy Sparks was named principal and senior project manager at Ethos Development’s new Seattle office.

Social services : Chiemi Davis was promoted to managing director of the child welfare practice improvement team and Benjamin de Haan was hired as managing director at Casey Family Programs.

Sports: David Felsen was appointed director of ticket operations and Brian Byrnes vice president of sales and marketing for the Seattle Sonics & Storm, which manages the Seattle SuperSonics and the Seattle Storm.

Technology: Greg Wood was named chief technology officer and executive vice president at BioPassword. Steve Minkove was appointed head of sales and John Jensen was named chief financial officer at Northwest GPS. Walter Conner was named director of marketing at Prepared Response.

Transportation: John Moffat was named regional administrator of the Northwest regional office by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Youth services: Ellen Dial, Elizabeth McCaw and Carol Nelson were named to the board of YWCA of Seattle-King County-Snohomish County.


Accounting: Mark Hugh was elected to the board of the Washington State Society of CPAs, Bellevue.

Banking: Irene Yim was named assistant vice president/commercial loan officer at Banner Bank, Woodinville.
