Be an Election Day poll worker

King County Elections is looking for nearly 4,000 poll workers to work throughout the county on Aug. 19.

Poll workers work from 6 a.m. until closing, around 10 p.m., and are responsible for opening and closing the polls and issuing ballots to voters.

Workers receive three hours of paid training before Election Day, and will earn about $125 for their service on Aug. 19.

Bilingual poll workers are especially needed to provide assistance to Chinese-speaking voters with limited English proficiency.
