Unemployment rates fell in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties last month, according to county figures the state released Tuesday.
March’s jobless rate was 5.1 percent in King County, down from 5.6 percent in February. In Snohomish, it was 5.7 percent, compared with 6.3 percent the previous month. And in Pierce, the rate fell to 9.1 percent from 9.5 percent.
Statewide, the jobless rate in March was 7.5 percent, a drop from 8.2 percent in February. All figures are raw estimates from a household survey and aren’t adjusted for seasonal fluctuations.
