Boeing delivered its second 787 Dreamliner to All Nippon Airways (ANA) of Japan Thursday, on the same day as the second delivery of its other new jet, the 747-8 Freighter, to European air freight carrier Cargolux.

Following a three-week delay in delivery due to a dispute over contract terms, Cargolux wasted no time. Its new jet took off shortly before 1 p.m. and headed directly to its headquarters in Luxembourg.

ANA’s jet won’t fly off to Japan until Saturday, Boeing said.

In Japan, ANA began training this week on its first 787, flying the Dreamliner to airports including Haneda, Kansai and Naha. ANA will fly its first passenger flight in a Dreamliner between Tokyo and Hong Kong on October 26.
