United Launch Alliance, a joint venture of Lockheed Martin and Boeing, scrubbed the Wednesday launch of its Delta IV rocket and its payload for the National Reconnaissance Office because of high ground winds, ULA said on its website.

The launch of the satellite was rescheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m. from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
