Amazon Studios agreed to make a pilot for “Maker Shack Agency,” the sixth pilot for kids programming announced in the last two months.

Amazon, which is using crowdsourcing techniques to change the way programs are made, plans to make the programs available on Amazon Instant Video early next year, and ask customers to provide feedback.

“Maker Shack Agency,” which will be produced by Electus Studios, will follow a 13-year-old inventor, Angus Wolfe, who in each episode comes up with new inventions with his buddies, Jo and Merle, to solve problems of their clients. The production company will work with Applied Minds, a research and development firm, to design the gadgets featured in each show.

In April, Amazon Studios released its first set of pilots, 14 shows of which five were chosen to be produced as series. Those programs, two series and three kids shows, are set to debut on Prime Instant Video later this year and in early 2014.
