Rahma Gaye was born in Seattle and graduated from Capital High School in Olympia, where she served as a student representative on the school board, Black Student Union Vice President, and children’s therapy intern. This fall she will be a freshman at Harvard University, majoring in psychology and human biology. She wants to have “positive impacts on teaching, learning, and communication in schools nationwide.”
