    Kittitas Police Officer Benito ?Kellyn? Chavez was wounded in a shootout last week killing Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Thompson, but is recovering.  He was released from Harborview Medical Center Saturday and transported back home in a Kittitas Valley medic unit.  His wife Monica also rode back in this unit.  (Ck spellings)
