Customers are seen at the Ballard Farmers Market in an entrance stretch of vendors, Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Seattle. According to Doug Farr, executive director of the Seattle Farmers Market Association, the number of customer capacity goes up with the number of vendors, and those have gone up with local harvest produce heading into the end of spring. 320 customers are allowed in, and according to Farr, usually only regular customers will wait in lines to get in (since tourists and cruise traffic is gone). The market looks crowded but Farr points out this is actually way down compared to pre-pandemic Sundays of 18-20,000 customers. 217279
