Ichiro announces retirement after Mariners’ final game in Tokyo

The Japanese baseball icon burst onto the MLB scene in 2001 and was an All-Star and Gold Glove winner in each of his first 10 seasons with the Mariners. He will be eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2025.

‘You don’t get people shot here’: Kittitas mourns deputy slain in shootout

The events in Kittitas, are difficult to grasp for this town that prides itself on its tranquillity: A Kittitas County sheriff's deputy was shot and killed and a Kittitas city police officer was wounded in a shootout with a traffic-stop suspect.

Amy the pig was the star pupil in dog-obedience class four years ago. After showing her stuff in shows and visiting retirement homes, she's retired now, rooting around with a half-sister and friend and just being a pig.  VIEW
