Share your photos of the Pacific Northwest – and of America’s national parks
Reader’s Lens: Whether it’s a scenic shot from your Methow Valley getaway or a peak moment from a hike up Mount Si, we’d like you to share your best photos of our beautiful part of the world. These can be spectacular scenics, wildlife shots or simply photos of your family and friends having fun in the Great Northwest. Selected photos will appear in the NWTraveler section of Sunday’s newspaper and online at seattletimes.com/traveloutdoors, and will be entered in our year-end judging for reader photo of the year (with a $250 gift card from a local camera store).
National Parks contest: Through July 31, 2016, Washington residents are invited to enter their photos from any U.S. national park, nationwide, to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. Recent photos are encouraged, but photos may be from any time period. Seattle Times photo professionals will select winning entries, which will appear in print in an August issue of The Seattle Times, and digitally on seattletimes.com. Prizes include a $100 gift card to REI for the grand-prize winner, and other prizes of lesser value.
