SPOKANE — Former NBA player and Eastern Washington basketball coach Craig Ehlo was arrested Thursday.
The Spokesman-Review reported that Ehlo was jailed on a felony charge of first-degree reckless burning and a separate charge of domestic violence.
Firefighters encountered two male family members holding Ehlo down near a pile of his burning clothes, next to a garage, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
Ehlo, 51, played at Washington State and for four teams over 14 seasons in the NBA. He coached EWU before resigning on July 11.
