WSU men’s basketball coach Ernie Kent answered questions about Cougar hoops, his coaching past and more in a  live chat on Wednesday.

In his first year with WSU, Kent rallied a young nucleus of talent to a 7-11 Pac-12 record. He’ll look to build on that mark in his second season with the program, as WSU returns their star forward Josh Hawkinson and quick-footed wing players Ny Redding and Ike Iroegbu.

Before coming to Pullman, Kent spent 13 seasons coaching the Oregon Ducks. He posted a stellar 235-174 mark in his time there, reaching the Elite Eight in 2002 and 2007.
