The Washington women’s soccer team signed six high-school seniors to national letters of intent Wednesday and the UW men signed nine, including four in-state players.
Joining the Huskies women’s team are Becca Schoales of South Kitsap, Paige Serworld of Central Kitsap, Sarah Shimer of Federal Way, Havana McElvaine of Kent (Denver), Madi McNamara of Jesuit High in Vancouver, Wash., and Morgan Mullin of South Torrance, Calif.
For the men, UW signed Ian Bartlett of Redmond (Crossfire Premier), Beau Blanchard of Sammamish (Eastside FC), Jose Ocampo of Bothell (Crossfire Premier), James Nosack of Vancouver, Wash. (Portland Timber Academy), Danny Gavin (Phoenix), Johnny Knutsen (San Francisco), Mason Robertson (Phoenix), Cristian Roldan (Pico Rivera, Calif.) and Steven Wright (Fair Oaks, Calif.).
Washington State signed seven women’s players, including Kailiana Johnson and Nicolle Marlow of Liberty High, Ayana O’Neal of University Prep and Lianna Simms of Skyline High.
